Matcha Bowl - Big Bao

A chawan inspired by your favorite dimsum dish!

This big bao bowl is handthrown, trimmed, sculpted, and glazed in my tiny home studio. Measuring approximately 4"x4", it's sized for whisking and sipping your favorite matcha.

Please note! To give the illusion of the bao shape, the opening of this bowl is smaller than my other chawans (~3" diameter), so wrist whisking is useful with this bowl! Also, the glaze I use for this piece is prone to crazing (check FAQs if you have any questions about this!)

All Claireamics are made with cone 6 porcelain and finished with food-safe ceramic glaze. While they’re microwave and dishwasher safe, I recommend handwashing to preserve their longevity.
