Matcha Whisk Stand - Octopus

A silly spot to rest your matcha whisk!

Each whisk stand is carefully handthrown, trimmed, sculpted, painted, and glazed in my tiny home studio. Designed to cradle your chasen between uses, it keeps your whisk in shape and your morning ritual joyful.

Please note! The underglaze I use for these octopi are on the thin side, so you may notice some slight streaking in color! I hope you find that this adds to the completely handmade nature of this piece.

All Claireamics are made with cone 6 porcelain and finished with food-safe ceramic glaze. While they’re microwave and dishwasher safe, I recommend handwashing to preserve their longevity.
